Captain M. Nasir Khan

19 years of seagoing experience, including 4 years in command of HANDYMAX and PANAMAX vessels, anchor a career spanning 24+ years of combined marine expertise.

14 years at ABS as Class Surveyor, HSQE and ISO Auditor, MLC & Subchapter “M” Inspector, and Corporate Internal Auditor — building deep, hands-on regulatory and classification knowledge across every major vessel type.

Extensive vendor-survey experience: ultra-high-pressure testing, NDE of weld joints, destructive load testing of Lifting Appliances, Marine diesel engine testing, and the qualifying of welding procedures and welders. Effective 2026 holds ICGB certification for all types of Lifting Appliances.

Wide Spectrum Service-Supplier Audit experience across Manufacturing, Design, NDE Firms, Underwater Diving, Type Approval, and Manufacturing Assessment.

Launched in May 2025, MNK Marine Consultants LLC is built to be a one-stop shop for all Marine services; bringing classification-grade discipline, audit rigor, and command-level seamanship under a single, independent entity.

Founded the firm to deliver independent marine surveying, auditing, inspection, training, and documentation review — a one-stop shop built on classification-grade standards.

ABS CORPORATE HEAD QUARTERS

Corporate Internal Auditor · Technology SME for Audits · SME Surveys and Audits Operations & Global Support Center

Authored safety documentation and Toolbox Talks; served as Corporate Internal Auditor; FREEDOM SME for audits in the technology department.

Within the Operations Support Center / Global Support Center, conducted Remote Surveys, Remote Audits, and worldwide technical support to surveyors and clients.
